Data scientists need for Tokyo based Insurance company

Responsibilities
・Data mining using state-of-the-art methods (developing algorisms and implementing them if necessary)
・Collecting scattered data sources in each companies into preferable state for analysis persistently
・Selecting features, building and optimizing statistical models using machine learning techniques
・Extending company’s data with third party sources of information when needed
・Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
・Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner
●Skills and Qualifications
Must:
・Profound knowledge and practical experience on data analytics and machine learning techniques, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests.
・Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Python, R, SAS, etc. Especially excellence in Python including NumPy, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook is desirable
・Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive
・Great communication skills with not Technique-oriented personality but Solution-oriented one.
Want
・Experience with data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.
・Experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Cassandra, HBase, etc.
Salary Range is up to 15milion yen
